The BBA 1st Semester Socialization Program of the 23rd Batch was successfully conducted at Hotel Country Villa, Nagarkot, on 23rd and 24th November, 2025. The event aimed to foster interaction, collaboration, and a sense of belonging among the newly enrolled students as they embark on their management journey.
The program commenced with a formal session graced by highly esteemed dignitaries whose presence added immense value to the occasion.The session was chaired by Shree Anil Kedia, Chairman of D.A.V. College, whose inspiring words highlighted the importance of discipline, leadership, and academic dedication.We were honored to have Dr. Mahananda Chalise, Dean of Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University, as the Chief Guest. His motivational remarks encouraged students to embrace opportunities, aim high, and excel in their chosen field of management studies.The event also featured an impactful session by our Resource Person Mr. Manohar Man Shrestha, a renowned Professional Management Consultant, Trainer, and Writer. His engaging delivery and practical insights inspired students to develop essential interpersonal and managerial skills for their academic and professional growth.
Other respected dignitaries, research cell members and faculty members also expressed their best wishes, motivating students to utilize their potential and support one another throughout their academic journey.
Following the formal session, students participated in a structured Management Development Training, designed to help them adapt to the BBA environment and build confidence in interacting with peers and mentors. The training included: team-building activities, communication and leadership exercises, group discussions and collaborative problem-solving tasks. These activities not only enhanced student engagement but also provided a platform for building friendships, understanding group dynamics, and nurturing teamwork skills.
The two-day residential program proved to be a meaningful, energizing, and enriching experience for the students. The beautiful setting of Nagarkot, combined with purposeful sessions and enjoyable group activities, made the event both memorable and impactful.
