The Research Management Cell (RMC) of D.A.V. College successfully conducted a two-day Seminar on Business Research on a Management Perspective, exclusively designed for the students of BBA 19th Batch and held from June 28th to 29th, 2025, at Hotel Country Villa, Nagarkot, the seminar aimed to foster analytical thinking, research competence, and professional growth among emerging business and management leaders.
The seminar was honored by the esteemed presence of Prof. Dr. Dilli Raj Sharma, whose insightful guidance and motivational engagement made the event profoundly enriching. The event was further graced by dignitaries and faculty members of D.A.V. College, adding wisdom and encouragement to the program.
Throughout the seminar, students presented their research work across various sectors, demonstrating their analytical skills, domain understanding, and innovative thought processes. Under the mentorship of DAV Research Cell Members, students prepared research reports and presented their findings, receiving valuable feedback and suggestions from the expert resource person. This interaction played a vital role in refining their research skills and enhancing their academic development. One of the seminar’s highlights was the hands-on training session on article crafting, led by the Prof. Dr. Sharma and RMC team. During the seminar, students were guided to draft a well-structured research article, focusing on the essentials, techniques, methodologies, and real-world relevance of scholarly research. Following the session, students were tasked with drafting a sample report format for constructive critique and review. This practical exposure helped them identify and tackle the gap between theoretical learning and application.
In addition to the intense learning sessions, the seminar featured refreshment breaks, engaging games, and interactive group activities that allowed students to relax, collaborate, and connect. These activities not only created a joyful atmosphere but also strengthened companionship among students and faculty, leaving behind memories that will last a lifetime.
