D.A.V. College recently hosted an insightful ‘Post Budget Analysis Session’ for the enthusiastic students of BBA and BBM 2nd Semester, aimed at fostering their understanding of national budgeting processes and financial systems. This interactive session provided a platform for students to explore the practical applications of budgetary concepts through research, collaboration, and expert interaction. The session was actively evaluated and graced by the honorable Senior Economist Dr. Chandra Mani Adhikari, as well as faculty members and dignitaries of D.A.V. College.

The first part of the session witnessed the students engaging in group presentations focused on the financial and budgeting aspects of various sectors within the economy. Each group delved into specific topics, offering their analysis, interpretations, and key learning in front of a respected panel. Their articulate delivery, teamwork, and thoughtful research reflected not just academic diligence but also a growing awareness of real-world financial dynamics. It was a proud moment for everyone to witness the potential and growth of the young minds stepping into their transformative academic journey.

Following the student presentations, the second part of the session brought a deeper, more analytical dimension to the discussion. Dr. Adhikari delivered an engaging and educational presentation on Nepal’s budget in comparison with global economic practices. His session covered multiple critical aspects of budgeting, offering clarity on national priorities, policy implications, and the interconnectedness of international and local economic decisions. This expert-led segment not only enriched students’ conceptual understanding but also empowered them to think critically about budget planning, resource allocation, and fiscal responsibility from both domestic and international perspectives.

To further motivate and recognize student achievement, awards were presented in various categories, including the Group Presentation Award and the Individual Presenter Award, based on evaluations from the judging panel. These awards served not only as tokens of appreciation but also as encouragement for students to continue striving toward academic and professional excellence.

A heartfelt thank you to our esteemed resource person, Dr. Chandra Mani Adhikari, for his guidance and valuable time. Sincere congratulations to all participating students for their commendable performance.
