DAV College successfully organized an intensive 12-day Multimedia Training Program on Adobe Photoshop and Video Editing for the BBA and BBM 4th semester students starting from 16th November to 27th November, 2025. The objective of the training was to equip students with essential digital skills that align with modern industry demands, enabling them to enhance their creativity, technical abilities, and professional readiness.
Under the expert guidance of our esteemed trainer, Mr. Ramu Aryal, students engaged in a comprehensive learning journey that started with the basic tools of Photoshop and gradually progressed to advanced design techniques. Throughout the sessions, they explored the Photoshop workspace, learned how to correct and enhance images, practiced digital retouching, and gained a solid understanding of layers, masks, and blending modes. They also learned to create visually appealing marketing materials such as posters, banners, brochures, and social media graphics. As the training advanced, students developed skills in complex image compositing and digital manipulation, eventually producing professional-quality designs suitable for academic and business use.
The video editing segment further enriched the learning experience. Students were introduced to professional editing software and quickly became familiar with timeline editing, trimming clips, and organizing sequences for proper storytelling. They experimented with transitions, visual effects, motion graphics, and color grading while also learning how to enhance audio for polished, high-quality output. By the end of this module, each student was able to edit and produce short videos that reflected creativity, technical understanding, and effective communication.
The training sessions were structured to be interactive and practice-oriented, allowing students to learn through demonstrations, guided exercises, and project work. Personalized feedback and one-on-one support ensured that every participant gained confidence in using the tools and techniques taught during the program.
This multimedia training not only helped students develop valuable creative and technical skills but also prepared them for future roles. The knowledge they acquired will undoubtedly support their academic growth and enhance their professional competitiveness.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Ramu Aryal for his time, effort, and dedication throughout this training program. His expertise and inspiring teaching approach were instrumental in shaping the students' learning experience and skill development.
