Brief Overview of BBA Program


The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) awarded by Tribhuvan University is committed to make you enable to become confident, competent and skilled professional who can effectively manage and lead business and social orgazniations in today's competitive environment.
BBA programme in D.A.V. emphasizes problem - solving competence needed in highly competitive environments. It also develops creative thinking, analytical ability and communication and presentation skills. We offer a varied choice, where you can choose a set of elective courses from among several courses to develop career in your area of interest as our courses are designed to integrate the conceptual framework of management study with their applicaton and also, specialized in the areas of marketing finance, accounting and human resources.
 
THE BBA CURRICULUM

120 credit hour academic program BBA at D.A.V. is a four-year program of Tribhuvan University. The curriculum eqips you with contemporary concepts, tools and techniques of management provide opportunity to gain expertise in any one of the functional areas of management and a choice of elective courses.
 
INTERNAL ASSESSMENT/EVALUATION

Internal assessment evaluation includes first and second assessments and pre-semester (Send-UP) test, which constitute 40% marks. The marking of internal Evaluation of students performance has been divided in following sub-divisions:
- I & II Assessment - Group Discussion/Group Exercise
- Pre Semester (Send-UP) Tests - Presentation and Problem Solving
- Attendance - Field or Project Work
- Discipline - For English: Listening/Writing/Reading
- Homework/ Class work  
 
MAKE-UP EXAMINATION
In case of failure in one or more courses at the end of semester examinations, students can appear in make-up examination in the subsequent semester. A student can appear only one two courses (6 credit hours) in the make up examination. If the students fail in the make-up examination, he/she will have to re-register and repeate the course as per the course cycle. A student can re-register only two courses (6 Credit hours) in a semester. The examination of the re-registered course/s will be held as per the course cycle.
